    New Hampshire Turtle Rescue in Nottingham would like to alert residents that turtles have started crossing local roads as they migrate to their feeding, mating, and nesting habits. New England Turtle Rescue is here to help in case you encounter a turtle that is injured or distressed and in need of aid. If you need assistance with a wild turtle, please call or text anytime at (603) 417-4944.

  • Town Clerk Hours for the Month of May

    The Town Clerk’s hours will be as follows for the month of May:

    • Monday 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
    • Tuesday 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.
    • Wednesday – Closed
    • Thursday 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
    • Last Saturday of the Month 9:00 am. – noon

  • Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days.

    Free to Cornish residents! Bring up to 5 Gallons/25 pounds of household hazardous waste to one of the Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days. Please see the 2026 Collection Days poster for dates and locations.
