The Town of Cornish, NH, is accepting applications for Road Agent. This year-round, full-time appointed position oversees an $800,000 budget, a crew of four full-time employees, and municipal roads and bridges for the entire community. The Town is seeking an individual with a CDL B license, knowledge of the principles and practices of public works administration, including year-round highway maintenance. Additionally, knowledge of public works construction, materials, and equipment is a necessity. This is an hourly position, offering pay commensurate with experience plus overtime, 80% health insurance, enrollment in New Hampshire Retirement, generous leave time, and paid holidays. The Town of Cornish, New Hampshire, is accepting applications for a Truck Driver/Laborer position. This is a year-round, hourly, full-time positions offering starting pay, commensurate with experience, with overtime, 80% health insurance, enrollment in NH Retirement, generous leave time, and paid holidays. The Cornish Highway Department is responsible for maintenance of the Town’s 54.85 miles of Class V Roads. Of our Class V Roads, 16.5 miles are paved and 38.35 miles are unpaved. The Highway Department is also responsible for snow removal from town buildings and school grounds.
