We will have a boating safety talk and hear about the cultural history of the river\, then set off from the Cornish WMA boat launch on Route 12A and paddle North to learn about the role the river plays in supporting wildlife habitat. \nBring a bag lunch\, a kayak or canoe\, paddles\, safety gear\, and your sense of adventure. DESCRIPTION:Green-Up will be happening from April 12th\, Saturday to April 27th\, Sunday. We have all the roads covered in Cornish and a huge thank-you to all of you who will be giving your time and muscle! Blue litter bags will be available at the Town Office Building\, the Cornish Flat Post Office\, the 12% Solution\, and the Stowell Library the week before April 12th. Please leave your filled bags on the side of the road\, and the Cornish Highway Department and/or NHDOT will pick up your bags.\n\n \n\nThanks to all the volunteers! DESCRIPTION:Christine Schadler\nThe Cornish Garden Club presents\, “Becoming Wolf: The Eastern Coyote in New England\,” by Christine Schadler. \nThis program delves into the ecology and behavior of the Eastern Coyote\, which demonstrates the same tireless adaptability as its close relative\, the Eastern Wolf. The Eastern Wolf\, now endangered\, appears to be trying to return to the northeast.  Similar in looks to the Eastern Coyote\, it is often mistakenly killed.Chris will discuss the importance of protecting both species\, as well as ways this can be done. It is through a deeper understanding and appreciation of these creatures that humans will find ways to coexist with them.
