PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED GOVERNMENTAL USE: LIBRARY AND COMMUNITY CENTER LOCATED AT 226 NH ROUTE 120, CORNISH, NEW HAMPSHIRE
- June 19, 2025 Meeting Minutes Review and Approval.
- Overview of 674:54 and Format.
- Review of Status of Requested Documentation.
- Letter from Liberty Utilities regarding proposed service to the building and whether any changes to electric poles, transformers or service lines would be required.
- Exterior lighting plan.
- Confirmation in writing that emergency vehicles and equipment could access the site and the building.
- Plan for a maximum attendance parking scenario.
- Timetable including a proposed start and finish to construction, but no intermediate benchmarks.
- Site plan augmented to show the Regulatory Flood Plain in order to determine, among other things, the proximity of the septic system to the flood plain.
- Statement from the project engineer regarding whether a new Letter of Map Amendment (LOMA) from FEMA will be required for the project. A LOMA establishes that the lowest adjacent grade (the lowest ground touching the structure) is at or above the base flood elevation (BFE) thus removing the requirement for flood insurance.
- Engineer’s memo documenting the calculations for the new use septic load and demonstrating that the current system has sufficient capacity.
- Plan showing all proposed occupancy configurations including which doors are locked/unlocked and building emergency egress under each configuration.
- Letters from Police Chief and Fire Chief regarding site safety
- Site Review.
- Project Overview Including Building Uses and Proposed Hours of Operation.
- Site Circulation, Pedestrian/Cyclist/Motorist Safety, Parking Capacity.
