Please join us for this very interesting talk that will tackle a fundamental principle underlying many modern building science questions.  This will be the first part of a short Fall series on Building Science brought to you by the Cornish NH Energy Committee.

Follow along as Nate Gusakov uncovers the source of water damage in buildings.
Learn about mistakes made in sealing and insulating homes that result in condensation build-up, serious water leakage and possible mold issues.
Find out about building envelope failures.
Gain a better understanding of best practices in building tightness that will prevent these moisture problems.

Nate Gusakov is a building envelope expert and the owner of Green Mountain Enclosure Consulting.  He performs a variety of services including residential and commercial whole-building airtightness testing; qualitative thermal imaging; envelope failure forensics; existing building envelope assessments; and building science teaching and presentations.

Nate is also a lifelong Vermonter, ethical hunter, musician and carpenter.  He sits on the Board of Directors for the Vermont Green Building Network and is a voting member of ASTM Technical Committee E06 (Performance of Buildings).
