CAIP’s COFFEE HOURS FOR SENIORS
Who: Seniors in Cornish, Plainfield, and Meriden, and their families, caregivers, and friends.
When: 1st Tuesdays – Social Coffee Hours
During June, July, and August, we will meet once a month. Come and visit with other local seniors. Bring games, puzzles, or hand crafts like knitting if you like. Beverages provided.
[Note: Our 3rd Tuesday Themed Coffee Hours will return beginning in September.]
Where: The future location of the Cornish Library (formerly the Cornish general store), 226 Route 120 in the Cornish Flat.

Our goal is to provide our seniors with social time, stimulating conversation, and helpful information related to aging or anything else we seniors want to talk about. Seniors living in Cornish, as well as those in Plainfield and Meriden, are warmly invited to attend. We also welcome our seniors’ caregivers, family members, and friends.
CAIP would like to thank the Millar Fund and the Cornish Community Initiative for their support of these activities.
Cornish Aging in Place (CAIP) is a committee of Cornish volunteers focused on providing information and resource options to Cornish Seniors.
Our goal is to support Seniors who wish to remain in their homes as they age. CAIP provides volunteer assistance for tasks such as transportation (to medical appointments, grocery shopping, miscellaneous errands), stacking wood, garden clean-up. CAIP also maintains a list of resources that can provide seniors with information on healthcare, food, clothing, pet care, medical equipment, mental healthcare, and financial or legal planning.
We encourage you to meet with one of us in person, or talk by telephone, and we invite you to contact anyone on the Committee list above.
